Kyle, friend, entrepreneur, and agent based in Austin, TX joins us. He shares the lessons from a recent retreat to Montana with the Refuge Foundation, his desire to see and vision for deep, meaningful community, how encouragement, community, generosity, and unity all relate, and lessons from his two years serving in Haiti.
We discuss how to balance care for others and self-care, seeing ourselves as God sees us, God’s delight being enough to carry us, taking care of yourself like you’re someone you’re in charge of looking after, the scarcity mindset and scoreboard mentality, how to be absolute celebrators of people, staying in your own lane, building the Kingdom, hope and determination is needed for community, reclaiming wonder to recapture hope, what unity is and how to pursue it, and how to preserve culture while pursuing unity.
