The Perspectives Podcast

Oct 20, 2020

In this episode, Josue and Chase conclude our panel series by sharing their own perspectives on the cultural conversation surrounding faith, race, systemic racism, and previous injustices.

We share personal, spiritual lessons they learned during this series, follow up on topics they want to add to from previous conversations, the conclusions they came to as a result of the conversation, and solutions to improve our society.

We discuss if God wants equity or equality, if black Americans are shot at disproportionate rates by police, how to properly analyze racial gaps, critical race theory and Kimberly Crenshaw, black individuals being met with data when they share their pain, the Unheard Progress in Black America, the standard for Christians in this conversation, race from a Christian perspective, balance of empathy and correction, Christians can’t lose hope in God’s plan, love casting out fear, and resources/people we’ve found valuable during this time.
